Rather than a single fixed lineup, the band operates as a well-established system — allowing us to scale the sound and energy of the performance to suit different events, venues and guest numbers, while maintaining a consistent standard of musicianship and delivery.
The rhythm section and core instrumentation remain familiar and well-rehearsed, ensuring tight performances and reliable pacing throughout the night. Where adjustments are made, they are handled internally to suit the style of event — without affecting quality or professionalism.

We had the best day ever, the music during the drinks reception was wonderful and got the setting just perfect for being outside in summer. The whole room was buzzing from the band’s show, everyone was complimenting how good they were. You are all such talented musicians, and Paul rocked it on the vocals, really great! Our wedding day was made even more magical thanks to the amazing Crescendos. The band is made up of the most amazingly talented musicians and they’re just genuinely lovely people as well, no request was too small for them. I walked down the aisle to a beautiful rendition of A Thousand Years and we were ecstatic to dance our second dance to a bespoke version of a song that was very meaningful to us. We had so many positive comments regarding the band throughout the day and we are so grateful to them for making our day even more special. I honestly cannot recommend The Crescendos enough, everyone had a fantastic time and so much time was spent on the dance floor, it was never empty! Thank you so much for everything, we had a wonderful wedding and enjoyed every minute xx.

We booked the band 2 years ago to play at our wedding last night and from first contact to finishing their set last night everything has gone so smoothly. I asked James if the band could learn a song that is very special to me and my family, which they did without hesitation and absolutely smashed it. The variety of music performed was brilliant and each and every member of the band is amazingly talented and very professional. These guys played a massive part in our big day and we can’t recommend them enough awesome people who put on an awesome show everybody had told us how good they were. A brilliant day and night was had by all and The Crescendos are massively to thank for that.

Had the Crescendos at our wedding. From start to finish they were outstanding! Superb singing and professional throughout—even knew the crazy dancers’ names after 5 minutes which made the evening even funnier! We met with James around a month ago to go through the set/songs and our first dance. Everything was 5* and as part of are wedding planning, we knew we had nothing to stress about once we had booked our band. I REALLY couldn’t recommend them enough and want to thank each and everyone of you! The personal touches you added for us. The simply the best song, and the first dance song was just perfect! Most couples book The Crescendos as a 6-piece band, with pricing around £2,200, plus travel.
Line-ups range from an intimate 3-piece from £1,250, through to a full 8-piece from £2,879.
Larger line-ups of up to 12 musicians are also available on request for couples wanting a truly big-band feel.
Our pricing is competitive for the level of service provided and reflects a fully professional setup — including experienced, fairly paid musicians, high-quality sound and lighting, and careful planning in the lead-up to your day.
